A nice feature for a future update, please, Microsoft? I was looking at G Suite and Dropbox to store my files in the cloud for easy access on all devices when I realized I could just buy Office and get 1TB of OneDrive space for significantly less money than the annual subscription costs for either of those two services.

It\’s like getting the Office Suite for free! I always thought 1TB of cloud storage wouldn\’t be enough space for me, but when I truly scrutinized my documents, it turns out I\’m using less than GB leaving GB of future-proof storage available for me!

In addition, Microsoft Office apps aren\’t free for the Office for iOS is actually quite a robust suite for a tablet-version meaning I can leave my laptop at home if I\’m not intending to do any desktop publishing or photo- and video-editing on-the-go. So very nice.

I\’ve been incredibly pleased with the OneDrive service, automatically syncing files between my desktop, laptop, iPad, and iPhone through the cloud and being able to make changes that propagate to all my devices easily and seamlessly. In addition, the OneDrive app for iOS and Android can be set to automatically upload the pictures you take on your smartphone to the cloud – a great alternative to Apple\’s iCloud or Google Android\’s online backup services.

The initial setup to copy your files to the OneDrive is time-consuming, of course, but that\’s because of ISP upload speeds, not the OneDrive service. Getting five different licenses of Office was also exactly what I needed for my household. Being able to have access to five copies of EITHER version is an outstanding feature, and dramatically increases the value of Office One big money-saving suggestion: Keep an eye on pricing and wait for a deal.

You can buy additional keycards and add them on to your new or existing Office subscription, extending your Office service a year per card and saving a bit of money off MSRP in the process. Overall, I can\’t stop raving about OneDrive. Sure, the Office suite is nice, too, but the key element to this subscription for me was the cloud storage – a total of 5TB between 5 users – for much less than G Suite or Dropbox.

There has to be a product key, so you need to go back to them. Lately the product key on OEM versions is on the envelope that contains the disc, and it is covered like instant lottery tickets–you have to scratch to reveal the number. There have been reports here that in some cases, scratching to reveal the number also damages the product key printing, so be careful if this is relevant to your case.

May I ask what is wrong with the edition you bought? Because its still usable, unless you bought an edition that does not have the features you need. The product key is also valid for use with 64 bit Windows 10 Home if you need that.

How to: Switch from 32 bit versions of Windows to Windows 10 64 bit. Well the problem with the version I received from Newegg is its the Windows 10 OEM version, 64 bit and there is no activation code. I am unable to change any personal type settings and it keeps coming up on screen to go to the windows store and buy an activation key. I am upset because Newegg says there is NO activation code for this windows version, I have called Microsoft a handful of times and nobody really cares about trying to fix my issue.

I understand the software functions however like mentioned above I could have just downloaded a free version to get the same results I have now. I really just wanted to be a good Microsoft customer, buy a license for my software version and be allowed to make personalized changes to windows This white folder packaging my disk came in has no scratch off type activation code hidden, there is simply no activation code anywhere.
