All computers affected were PCs with Windows While losing power to the modem is not a regular occurrence, if it should happen, the main computers will not reconnect via WiFi.

I was able to install an Airtie WiFi extender and hard wire that into main computer itself. It can take a minute or two for the modem to setup, especially if you have an eMTA. Please know that it\’s not absolutely necessary that you follow the above procedure; I would label it overly cautious. But it\’s the method that always works.
