While Buster Bunny was hopping off with first prize from Acme Looniversity\’s annual animation festival, somebody else was bustin\’ a move on his best friend, Babs Bunny.

The campus shakedown began when a fellow film contestant, Montana Max came down with a severe case of the \”grumps\” when Buster hooked first prize. Monty figured the quickest way to get rid of the sour taste of loss was sweet revenge. He nabbed Babs, the fairest hare on campus, and took her to his not-so-humble abode. Takin\’ a bunny just isn\’t funny. This fair hare must be rescued, at once!

If variety is truly the spice of life, then Tiny Toon Adventures by Konami is video-land livin\’. Reaching Monty\’s digs is no wimpy trek; there are 24 areas of play. What keeps the action fresh is a feature which enables you to \”swap\” Toons.

You begin gameplay with Buster at the wheel, however, you can select one of three other Toons – Plucky Duck, Dizzy Devil, and Furball – to take along as a partner. Each Toon is a different creature with different talents: Plucky can fly, Fuzzball climbs vertical surfaces, and Dizzy launches into mean wall-busting Tasmanian-twirls.

You can\’t call upon your partner at will, however. You can only make the switch by capturing power spheres which, of course, are strategically placed throughout the game. Chances are you won\’t come across spheres at the most opportune moments, nevertheless, it keeps things challenging.

Smacking Captain Claw on the head isn\’t difficult. It\’s the barrels he launches at you which are lethal. Steer dear. It\’s tough to avoid using that tired phrase \” Mario-style \” to describe Tiny Toons Adventures. It\’s packed with a fair share of old familiar obstacles, including the ever frustrating floating platforms, sand pits, and shell-shooting crab creatures. But, hey, there\’s nothing wrong with tried and true methods, and T-Toon Adventures is definitely a kick to play.

It stands firmly on it\’s own furry feet both from the first rate animation to the multi-character game-play. The popularity of the Tiny Toons amidst the kiddie-set alone is enough to assure this game a place on somebody\’s Christmas wish list. Strip away that popularity, however, and you\’ve still got a solid game with decent challenge.

Konami\’s given the Toons\’ graphics their 8-bit best, and although Toon tunes harken back to some of the earliest NES titles, they make you wish for a mute button. Take a tip from the Missing Link — a guy who\’s been around for a few million years — Tiny Toon Adventures is a game worth taking back to your cave. Buster and his sidekicks are back at it again.

This time, they\’re in Montana\’s Movie Madness. It seems as though a new movie theater has just opened in Acme Acres and Montana Max is already planning to spoil all the fun for Buster and the rest of the Tiny Toon gang by showing only movies that Max is starring in.

It\’s up to you, with a little help from the rest of the Toons, to put an end to Montana Max\’s fiendish plan to take over the silver screen for good. Your goal is to jump and kick your way through many different levels of the movie itself. Make sure you don\’t miss any carrots on your long and tedious journey of stopping Max, for the town\’s peace is in your hands.

However, I feel that Sega got a game that is just as good. If you like platform games, you are in for an absolute treat with this one here. The story of the game is fun and like something you would have seen on the TV shows. Max has that dastardly, Dr. I will admit that side by side, the visuals of this game are not quite as good as what the Tiny Toon game on the SNES offered. However, this is still a fantastic looking game.

They have captured the look and feel of the show incredibly well. All of the characters are here and as well as looking great the characters all have these little animations that really do bring them to life. The level design is also amazing. There are eight stages in the game and each one has its own theme and style.

Ranging from lava to ice! A great deal of imagination went into this game and many of the areas feel like they could have been ripped right out of the show. As well as the looks, Tiny Toon Adventures Busters Hidden Treasure has an awesome soundtrack that fits the wacky action very well. This is a great looking and sounding game. However, it is also one of the best platformers around!

You have a jump, slide, and a help button and that is it. The controls are damn near perfect and the game plays like a hybrid of Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario World! The reason I say this is because Buster can pick up some real speed like Sonic. Yet the levels are full of secrets so you are encouraged to go and explore as you would in a Mario game.

The fact of the matter is this is quite a challenging game. It is not just the fact it is challenging that I like, it is a fair challenge. Each level has multiple stages and a boss battle and some of the bosses will take more than a few tries to beat. It is just a joy to play. It is a game that is going to challenge your platforming skills, but you will be having a great time all the while you play it.

That though does not mean this is a bad game, far from it. If I had to do a top 20 platform games of the bit era, this game would be on it and perhaps even in the top 10! Tiny Toons – Buster\’s Hidden Treasure is a two-dimensional platformer on Sega, where the anthropomorphic rabbit Buster Bunny runs around the world and saves the beautiful Babs Bunny.

The character also hunts for a treasure chest that has been stolen by the evil Montana Max. The game will please old Tiny Toons fans. The player controls a crazy hero who runs, jumps and collects carrots very fast. The gameplay of Tiny Toons – Buster\’s Hidden Treasure is reminiscent of Sonic the Hedgehog , where the main character chases enemies headlong. The player travels through large authentic maps, tries not to fall off cliffs, prick on spikes and collects power-ups.

The bonuses are: hearts and bells replenish maximum life. A blue bunny in an orange t-shirt that\’s what Buster Bunny looks like jumps from platform to platform.

Jump on your opponent\’s head to beat him. Trampolines with springs help you climb high, to hidden and secluded places. The map consists of several large platforms with obstacles. The game consists of twenty-seven levels and one bonus level.

The player completes three or four levels in one universe, meets a boss, defeats it, and gains access to another universe. Bunny-traveler awaits a variety of locations from a green meadow, where the grass is verdant and the sun is gentle on the eyes, to an industrial area guarded by killer robots. For what it\’s worth, there\’s a dark purple forest with strange creatures.

Seek adventure through forests, snow, mountains, islands, lava caves. There is a tangled maze inside a ghost ship. The character is beautifully animated. The character gestures interestingly, bulges his eyes at the edge of a chasm. His body flattens out against the walls if he crashes into them at full speed. Often the hare smirks dazzlingly as it bounces off the springs. The Tiny Toons have invaded the Genesis at last! Buster Bunny and his pals are in great form, but with the good comes the bad.

Montana Max is also on hand to work some mischief! Buster finds a treasure map at Acme Looniversity. Unfortunately, Montana Max snatches the map and makes for the hills. To keep Buster at bay, Monty enlists the aid of the nutty professor, Dr. Gene Splicer. Buster\’s friends are now his foes. Well, all the Tiny Toons are present and accounted for. Now it\’s up to you to free your Toony buds and beat Max to the treasure.

Tiny Toon Adventures is a slick hop, skip, and run for the Carrots, which give you points toward extra lives. In this fun, side-view, action game, you guide Buster across 33 stages of treacherous terrain. You\’ll have a good time on this journey, but pack your bags because it\’s a long one. The game\’s passwords and continues definitely come in handy. However, keep in mind that just past the midpoint of the game, the continue feature shuts down!

Buster\’s search covers forests, caverns, and underwater terraces. None of it will bust your brain cells, but you\’d better watch your step. Wolverines , owls, bats, frogs, and \’gators will break your heart meter, that is if the spikeballs, boulders, and spear traps don\’t get you first.

Bunny\’s cool moves keep him on his toes. He runs at blazing speeds. He bounces off and up walls with a great super-jump move. He pulls himself hand over hand across ropes, or he uses his ears to slide down them. When bad guys threaten, B.

Bunny can even jump up and stomp \’em with a — Bunny foot. The game\’s controls are primo, so you can\’t blame them if you find yourself in rabbit stew. If you get in a jam, you can look for invincibility Crystals or you can get by with a little help from little friends. A single button press will make Sneezer, Concord Condor, and Little Beeper race across the screen and wipe out all enemies around, that is if you find the icons let them loose.

The Tiny Toon Fan Club will have no problem with the game\’s graphics. Buster has great-looking moves and facial expressions. The rest of the Toon gang also gets great graphic treatment. The backgrounds look clean if unspectacular , and they paint a nice sense of depth. Touching Gogo Dodo opens the exit Once he\’s found, greedy players might want to backtrack for more points before leaving.

The game\’s sounds are sweet. The effects are great with just the right car- toony nuances, such as a lip-flapping, motorcar sound when Little Beeper races across the screen. The music\’s good. After a game session, however, you\’ll likely find yourself humming the Tiny Toon\’s theme song a little too often.

Sonic The Hedgehog broke the speed barrier for Genesis games, but leave it to Konami to recognize a good thing when it crosses its path. Tiny Toon Adventures makes no bones about following in Sonic\’s speedy footsteps. In addition to Buster\’s burst of speed, the game sports Sonic looks by dividing the stages into three tiers — the sky, ground level, and below ground level.

Plus, the Carrots are lined up along the way like Sonic\’s Rings. Although Buster is no Sonic, he\’s Buster. That\’s good enough here. Tiny Toon Adventures is a slick, fast-pace, action game that\’s worth a play, or three. Moreover, the hefty number of stages helps make this cartoon game worth the price of admission.

Buster\’s Hidden Treasure is a little treasure in itself. Tiny Toon Adventures is a video game developed and published in by Konami, producer well known today for launching football simulators. Tiny Toon Adventures was the first game released of the series, but several other follow-ups came later on. The game is a platform one, with the player controlling Buster Bunny.
